Staying In Love

-Andy Stanley

Jesus said, “Love one another.” This isn’t a feeling. It’s a command to act. Love is an action that we strive toward everyday.

If a husband told Jesus that he wasn’t in love with his spouse anymore, He’d probably ask, “But how are you loving your wife?”

“No, Jesus, you don’t get it,” the husband might reply. “I don’t love her anymore.”

This husband doesn’t get it. Love isn’t a mere thing that you can possess one day and lose the next. It’s something you do. And when you do, those romantic feelings will follow.

How will you love your spouse today?
