Stand In The Gap

-SOME MAY ASK, “WHY ARE YOU SO HARD ON MEN”?…My answer: “Because men are hard and live in a hard fallen-world that requires hard-men”!
And I sought a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none. –Ezekiel 22:30

“Hard” doesn’t mean “thuggin’, muggin’ or gun-runnin’, that’s childishness. “Hard” means bringing and receiving raw-naked Truth that brings light [God’s knowledge] into ignorance, [or better known as the kingdom of darkness]. The choices are, 1. You can either be “hard” for the world and end up in jail or worse dead, eternally separated from God. or 2. Be “hard” for Jesus, change the world one heart at a time and enjoy eternity by His side.

It was King Leonidas and his 300 men who “stood in the gap” of a battle called, Thermopylae. They took a stand when others chose to run and hide. Their land and families were in imminent danger from invading forces, so they had to put themselves as a line of defense by “standing in the gap” between good and evil. I wonder if there are still any men who have the guts to shout, “Give them nothing, but take from them everything”!

I believe that men are God’s “master-key” to unlocking the flood-gates of revival, the family, our communities, our cities, our states, our nation and the world. For where the head turns and goes, so does the rest of the body. In short, men have been entrusted the responsibility not only to make things right, but also to keep them that way—and God will hold us men accountable to what He’s given.

Why am I hard on men? I’m hard on men because men have a hard mission to fulfill in a hard world that offers nothing but hardship. You’ll never hear me “baby” a man, because babies are well; “babies” and do not yet have the necessary maturity it takes to transform society one family at a time.

I’m hard on men because I know they can take it. I’m hard on men because “easy” does nothing to inspire their greatness. In a “hard world”, soft, whining, crying babies become the puppets of culture. God has, is and always will seek MEN to STAND IN THE GAP of a HARD-FALLEN-WORLD and raise God’s standard of righteousness. I’m HARD on MEN because we MEN have a HARD task ahead of us that only “HARD-MEN” can completely accomplish. #ManUp
