Worth The Birth

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. -Jeremiah 29:11

No matter where you are in life or where you find yourself; God believes in you. Regardless of the circumstances that  may have occurred or are presently unfolding, God’s purpose for your life has not changed. Everything else may change, but His love and purpose for you will forever remain the same.

There are painful events that sometimes transpire within our families that leave us asking ourselves, “Is this still worth fighting for”? Our marriages may have experienced a season of war and we wonder if there’s any strength or love left to give. Our children may have chosen to take a different road from the one we hoped they would and have caused us immeasurable hurts. We may ask ourselves, “Is this all still worth fighting for”?

Our very lives may be under-fire and life’s daily pressures have worn us down as we desperately seek for some relief, some hope, some light at the end of this dark tunnel. The thoughts may enter our minds, “Are you worth fighting for?, Is your life worth anything anyway?, Maybe you’re better off dead. Maybe you’re better off just giving up and disappearing where no one will ever find you”?

Is this you? Are you single, married, divorced, a husband, a wife, a son or a daughter that feels like all hope is lost and the best option is to end it all? Have you been wrestling with the haunting thoughts of checking-out, giving-up, throwing in the towel, walking-out or even ending it all? Then please allow me to say that all hope is not yet lost nor will it ever be.

God’s plans and purpose for your life are never cancelled, revoked or changed because of what happens in our lives, they will always remain the same. To God you are someone who is still worth dying for and He would have died just for you if you were the only person alive in this world. Don’t give up hope. Don’t quit on yourself, your marriage or your children. You are truly “Worth the Birth”!

Of one thing you can be sure of today and it is this, God’s love for you, His plans for your life have not and cannot ever be changed regardless of what you have done or what has been done to you. There is healing and restoration in God. He is the God that brings the dead back to life. There is nothing that is impossible or too hard for Him. God specializes in broken-hearts, marriages and families because He is the Family’s Great Specialists.

After all He created you, marriage and the family; so He knows just what to do, but you must continue to believe, hold-on and never let go to His promise that His plans for you, your marriage, your children and your family are very good ones. Plans that are for a wonderful and bright future. No one is a lost case. No one is beyond rescuing. God is more than ready, willing and able to fulfill His promise to you and your family today. Will you receive and commit to God’s heart for you and your family found in Jeremiah 29:11 today? If you feel like you’ve lost everything and life has slipped right through your hands, hold on to God’s promise today because He is still holding on to you and will never let go. He still belies in you!  He is cheering you on! His plans for you have not and will never change!
